It’s not always easy being single. It’s easy to long for the days when you have a significant other or even a husband. It pains me to hear young women tell each other that they will find someone. You’re right. You will find someone you can marry, but should you really marry them? Ben Stuart, the former leader of Breakaway, has said previously You can get married tonight if you lower your standards enough.
The Lord never promised us that we would get married. He didnt promise us a person. However, He did promise us that He would be enough. We won’t need anything more. He will provide for us. After going over some of the most common reasons, we as women, want to get married, I created a list of verses that go against or at least show that The Lord is enough. Listed below are the reasons I personally want a husband or reasons I have heard other women say they wanted a husband along with the coinciding verses.
